Burger King Chicken Sandwich Recipe
Here is a recipe for a copycat Burger King chicken sandwich:
Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 2 sesame seed buns, split
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 2 leaves lettuce
- 1 slice tomato
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, bread crumbs, flour, egg, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well.
- Form the chicken mixture into 4 patties, about 4 inches in diameter.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add a little oil to the pan.
- Cook the chicken patties for 3-4 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
- Place the chicken patties on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes, or until heated through.
- To assemble the sandwiches, spread mayonnaise on the bottom halves of the buns.
- Top with chicken patties, lettuce, and tomato.
- Serve immediately.
