French Meat Stuffing Recipe

Here is a recipe for French Meat Stuffing:

Ingredients:

1 pound ground beef

1 pound ground pork

1 onion, chopped

2 stalks celery, chopped

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon dried sage

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

6 cups bread cubes

1 cup chicken broth

1/2 cup chopped parsley

Instructions:

In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and pork over medium heat. Drain off any excess grease.

Add the onion and celery to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Stir in the thyme, sage, salt, and pepper.

Add the bread cubes and chicken broth to the skillet. Stir until well combined.

Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes, or until the bread is moistened.

Stir in the parsley and serve.

Tips:

For a richer flavor, use half beef broth and half beef stock.

If you don’t have bread cubes, you can use stale bread that has been torn into small pieces.

You can also add other vegetables to the stuffing, such as carrots, mushrooms, or peas.

This stuffing can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Just reheat it in a 350-degree F oven until heated through before serving.

Enjoy!
